Challenge:

The Department of Trade and Economic Affairs (confidential) investigates opportunities for the development of sustainable economic activities leading to increase export and employment capacities. The challenge was to identify potential growth industries, attract market-ready producers and manufacturers with a complementary and high-quality product portfolio in sufficient export quantities.

Solution:

Afri-Trade conducted an in-depth industry analysis and developed an export promotion strategy to enhance export capacities for food products, natural ingredients and certified organic products. Moreover, Afri-Trade guided national representatives across relevant trade fairs to build support among key influencers at political and industry level.

Result:

Activities revealed market and employment creation opportunities to allocate budgets and assign internal resources, which led to an export strategy implementation plan.
